So yesterday was the Ben's birthday! The BIG 2-9! He's one year closer to Ole Man status!

I met the Ben when he was freshly 21...


This was our first summer together. Up North at his family's cabin. Summer of 2006

and... now's he the BIG 2-9!


For his birthday, I'm making him these wonderful cookies!

On a somber note, today we said goodbye to a dear Stallion, the daddy to both of my Geldings, Barons Flame Redeem and Gotta Be A King... 

He was 29 years young. Lots of fond memories with this Ole Man


I was 2 years old when this was taken. This is me and my grandpa on Bear. I'll miss this fella!

Man, oh man. It has bee a LONG time since I have posted a blog update. It has been incredibly busy around here and I just see the room spinning by the end of the night. So, I've been pretty neglectful towards my blog.  So, to start things off, and I'm going to try and be as brief as possible so to prevent this blog from becoming a novel... No poo... Still doing it, still loving it. Though, unfortunately, I have cheated a few times due to being out of baking soda and vinegar and not getting a moment to run to the grocery store. I can't say I've hated my cheats... But I can definitely tell the difference in volume between what No poo gives me and what conventional shampoo and conditioner fails to deliver. During my cheats, I used Johnson Baby Shampoo - Honey & Apple along with one squirt of Aussie conditioner. I much prefer No Poo, even if shampoo and condition does smell so good.  Losing weigh while breastfeeding... Is going well! I'm down...

Getting Fit while Breastfeeding: Zumba & Before's

Since having Bailey, I have felt less than impressed with my self-image. So in an effort to start getting back into shape and start feeling better about myself as a wife and mother, I've decided to start doing a few things to get myself back. Since I'm an It Works! Distributor, I have access to a slew of products to help! BUT, there's a teensy-weensy wrench in that idea... I'm a breastfeeding mother. I've been EBFing my baby girl for almost 7 months. So that limits the type of things I can do in an effort to lose weight and get back into shape. I cannot limit calories since it's very important I get enough calories in order to keep my milk supply up. Breast milk is made up of about 40 calories per ounce and I'm producing 60+ ounces a day. Exercise can also greatly affect your milk supply, so I have to be careful to not overdo it.
