My No Poo Journey: Hey Hey!

I know what y'all are thinkin'! She gave up on the No Poo thing, didn't she? She couldn't handle it, could she?

Well, I've got news for you! I'm still with it! I have not used commercial shampoo or conditioner since March 22, 2014! I'm still LOVING it! My hair is crazy voluminous, insanely soft, blindingly shiny... Ok, yeah. Enough with that! But anyways... I love it. I'm not a No Poo hater! I'm a lover!

This was taken TODAY! April 29, 2014... I took a shower last night. 

I don't have time to really do my hair... so you get the real deal! Lately I've been skipping washing (not showers!) and I have been getting 3-4 days before I even notice a SLIGHT bit of greasiness. Before starting No Poo I was getting 1-2 days in-between washing and my hair was a total grease ball. 

The only "downfall" is my hair is static-y when I brush, but a tiny bit of water on the brush and that is taken care of. I have not had the need to deep condition with Coconut Oil and lately I've not even had the need for a condition with Vinegar. My hair is not dry at all. 

So I'm loving it! I'm so glad I made the switch and I think my hair is too!

Who Told My Baby She Could Grow Up?!

I'm serious. Who told her? Because I want to speak with you! You should have come to me first because I am her mother! I did not give you permission to tell my baby that she could grow up! Miss Bailey turned 7 months today! I can hardly believe that 7 months have gone by so quickly! She was just my itty bitty last week, wasn't she? Let's reminisce.
