Getting Fit while Breastfeeding: Zumba Night
Damn! I kicked ass at Zumba tonight! This was my 4th class and the best class of them all, so far! I felt strong, I felt energetic. I was able to keep up with almost all of the moves, some I had to learn so those were a bit tricky but overall, I felt great! I was even able to "whoop" it up and sing along! Normally I'm too concentrated on the movements and not falling (shoes that won't stick) that any extracurricular wasn't possible! But tonight ROCKED! Not sure if my new RAINBOW shoes had anything to do with that or of being down on myself as a mother and wife, but I would like to think that I'm getting stronger and more in shape!
I have been dealing with a pretty sore ankle though. It was fine during my pregnancy with Bailey but ever since giving birth to her almost 7 months ago it has been giving me awful fits. Every morning it's a struggle to get downstairs without feeling like I'm going to fall or drop Bailey. Even after stretching it out. I limp and it's just really painful.
I'm not sure what happened... I am known to roll my ankles but I typically roll my left one, not my right and I haven't rolled my left ankle since I was about 28 weeks pregnant with Bailey. At first I noticed the pain was on the inside of my ankle. Making me want to walk on the outer edge of my foot with my foot curled up. But within the last week the pain has moved to the outside of my ankle and at times it can be excruciating to the point where walking is impossible until I work it out.
I don't know what to do. I'm doing stretches and exercises with it... but nothing seems to be helping. I really don't like the thought of going to the doctors but may resort to that if it won't improve. I'm wondering if using one of my Body Wraps on it will help... I may try that, but I think I may need to get something to wrap it up with each week when I do Zumba as well. Tonight was really hard when I had to bear all my weight on my right leg. My ankle gave out a few times but thankfully I didn't fall down. That would have been embarrassing.
Oh! And! Guess what?! I lost a half pound this week! I'm out of the 190's and down to 189.5 pounds!

I think the next thing I invest in will be good sports bras! Full boobs and jumping around don't mix! Ouch!
And my milk supply has returned to normal! It was a simple case of not enough fluids! I'm back to pumping what I'm used to and Bailey is back to sleeping better and feeling satisfied longer!
